News: The Mental Health Foundation are seeking volunteers for their project “Reclaiming Our Heritage”

The Mental Health Foundation are currently seeking volunteers in and around the North. Training will be in Inverness but the opportunity will cover the whole of Scotland!image001.png

Reclaiming Our Heritage is a project which is recording and preserving the spoken testimony of the arts and mental health movement in Scotland, from the 1960s to mid-2000s. Testimonies will be put on a digital archive and fashioned in to a mobile exhibition, set to be part of SMHAF 2021.

They are going to be looking for volunteers who will be trained in carrying out oral history interviews and heritage skills to help us gather testimonies from people across Scotland.

There’s space for 12 volunteers to come on board and learn some new skills.
