With the assistance of The Armed Forces Covenant Trust, we have compiled a short list of walks; through towns, forests, hills and beaches - catering for all ages and abilities - covering the west of Moray with a focus on family friendly options.

Whether you are new to Moray or lived here for years we welcome you to enjoy our map. You may be familiar with some of these walks, but others you may not. So, please take time to look through the listings and you will hopefully find a walk that suits you, perhaps taking you to a part of our local environment that you may not have already experienced.

The map was designed with forces community members from the 39 Engineer Regiment as part of our project "Celebrating Wellbeing Together in Moray" which completed in April 2021. The hope is that it will encourage and support many more families to explore and connect with the beautiful nature Moray has to offer.
