Have you had experience of Self-Directed Support? Moray Wellbeing Hub would love to hear from you!
Moray Wellbeing Hub CIC is continuing work on a pilot research project across Moray and we want to hear your voice and experiences.
Self-Directed Support is the way social care is supposed to be provided in Scotland, and gives people CHOICE AND CONTROL over how their needs can be met.
Do you or someone you care for have a Self-Directed Support package?
- How accessible was this?
- What worked well?
- Were there any challenges along the way?
Have you applied for SDS but not met the criteria? Do you need information on your options and what’s available in Moray?
We are hosting weekly drop-in sessions from now until the end of February for anyone to pop along for an informal chat and find out more about SDS – what it is, how to apply, how we can support you through the process.
- Every Tuesday morning at The Bow Café in Elgin from 9.30am – 11.30am
- Every Tuesday afternoon at Buckie Community Hub in Buckie from 2pm – 4pm
If you’re unable to come along in-person, our contact details for anything SDS related are email: sds@moraywellbeinghub.org.uk or tel: 01343 576219
