Report: Moray experiences of using services around drug and alcohol harm – new survey results

HeidiReport

Moray Wellbeing Hub are delighted to share their latest peer-research report exploring experiences of using local services. It is hoped that community members living with life challenges will feel empowered to see their voice captured and being listened to. The document is also hoped to be of great use to local organisations and groups looking to shape the support they offer, including in gaining more funding. This research was undertaken this October through interviews and an online survey.

The data, which covers the last 9 months, was created to support the work of the Health and Social Care Moray in commissioning services for drug & alcohol as well as mental health recovery. The report provides those developing the criteria for new services, as well as improving existing services, with more understanding of the needs of the community.

Teresa Green, Mental Health Services Interim Manager

“Health and Social Care Moray would like to thank the Moray Wellbeing Hub and all participants who took part in the recent survey regarding Alcohol and Drug Recovery and support in Moray.  The findings and feedback from this process (questionnaire and interviews) is welcomed and will inform not only the ongoing commissioning activity for service provision but to help shape the future of collaborative working in Moray more broadly”.
