The Cost of the School Day in Moray would like to invite education practitioners across Scotland to join us for one of our learning events.
These events will be focused on current practices and approaches in Moray schools that help to reduce the cost of the school day, ensuring all children can fully participate in education.
1 in 5 children across Moray are living on low incomes. Poverty awareness and action at school is key to overcoming financial barriers and supporting all children to learn, participate and thrive.
The first learning session is today, 15th September, and is for those working in or with education in Moray itself, with an emphasis on school staff and those organisations that work directly with schools. More information and to book is here
The second session on the 5th October is open to any other interested individuals across Scotland, and will include the learning and next steps in Moray around embedding the Cost of the School Day. Find out more here
