Nature for Health, for Happiness, in the Highlands will be hosting Nature Walks in Moray every Wednesday 1h30 to 3pm from the 1st of June till the 31st of August 2022.
Nature Walks for Wellbeing are 90 minute sessions that use nature walks to provide mindful nature-based therapy to those suffering from mental illness, and those just taking care of themselves. Participants meet at a pre-determined location in Moray each week.
Starting this week at Grant Park in Forres, meeting by the library. 1.30 to 3pm – ninety minutes of nature connection, easy walking and fire brewed tea and biscuit led by a fully trained naturalist guide. Offered free of charge, this is aimed at anybody in the community who wants to improve their knowledge of the area and its wildlife at the same time as boosting their physical, mental and social wellbeing. A little bit of Vitamin N for Nature can make all the difference!
