EVENT: Nature 4 Health Branching Out to Support Mental Health

The Branching Out programme, running in Forres, Elgin and Nairn, supports adults who use mental health services, through 12 weekly sessions of supported activities.

Each session comprises of three hours in the woods in all weathers and can include wildlife ID, green woodworking, bush craft, tool use, conservation activities, gentle exercise, cooking on campfires and environmental art.

The programme has helped to make a really positive impact on people struggling with their mental health. It connects participants to new people, new situations, new skills and new opportunities, all in a safe and well held environment. The healing benefits of time spent in the woods with like minded folk can be life changing!

The programmes will see a wonderful transition from early spring through to lush summer. All sessions will run from 10am-1pm.

Elgin – Mondays from 18th April

Forres – Tuesdays from 19th April

Nairn – Fridays from 22nd April LIMITED SPACES LEFT
