Nature for health, for happiness!

Nature Walks for Wellbeing are 90 minute sessions that use nature walks to provide mindful nature-based therapy to those suffering from mental illness, and those just taking care of themselves. Participants meet at a pre-determined location each week, with different leaders to provide varied activities.

The sessions emphasise experience in and benefiting from, nature. Art, storytelling, poetry, nature tracking and wildlife watching may form part of the session and mindfulness activities are a regular focus. As part of the walk, the group have tea made on a fire with a wee snack and the chance to chat together in a beautiful natural spot.

We very much hope those participating have benefited from and enjoyed our Nature Walks in 2021, we certainly have. We are very excited that we have expanded our walks out from Inverness and Moray this year, to the bi-weekly walks in Aberlour now firmly established and successful.

In 2022 we are excited to announce that we will also offer our free Nature Walks in Nairn as well. These will be every other Friday, with exact dates and locations coming soon.
