MWH Admin TeamNews

Would you like to join the Healthier Lives, Healthier Communities conversation and have your say on the health and wellbeing issues that matter to you and your family now and in the future?

Health & Social Care Moray is responsible for many of the services on which you, your family and your community rely.

Our goal is to enable people to look after and improve their own health and wellbeing so they can live in good health for longer and stay out of hospital if they don’t need to be there.Much of our focus is on ways of supporting people with disabilities, long-term conditions, mental health problems or who are elderly and frail, to live as independently as they can in their own home with greater control over their care and support.

Moray’s health and social care system has experienced many challenges since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and all partners continue to work hard to respond to the ongoing pressures.

Moving forward with communities means listening to people and actively involving them throughout the process of planning care delivery. We want to improve local services and ensure they meet the needs and ambitions of local people, especially those who need the services most.

You are invited to take part in this survey which is gathering views and ideas for improving health and wellbeing provision in the Lossiemouth Locality. This includes discussion on:

·       Looking after your own health and wellbeing
·       Priorities for young people, adults and older people
·       Health and social care services
·       The branch surgeries at Burghead and Hopeman
·       Home First – returning home from hospital

There are 21 questions in the survey which should take around 10-15 minutes to complete.

The survey closes on Friday 17th December – click here to take part
