NEWS: Neurodiversity Project Success, Launch of new Pathway and Leaflet

Moray Wellbeing Hub have been leading a campaign around Neurodiversity in a bid to explore how we are all wired differently and the impact of the language we use around this on stigma

For the past two years we have been exploring the subject of Neurodiversity and celebrating our amazingly diverse brains!

We have now come to the end of our current project around ‘Neurodiversity’ and we celebrated with an event online. During the event two new tools developed during the campaign were launched. First a new strength-based Neurodiversity leaflet helping to challenge (self) stigma and change perspectives. Second an exciting new online resource, signposting folk towards support in Moray went live.

During the event we celebrated the events and activities we ran throughout the Neurodiversity Project and we will continue to explore how we can take this positive revolution forwards to change perspective in Moray!

Our new strength based leaflet which is essential in challenging (self) stigma and changing perspectives can be viewed here:

We have also launched our new Pathway on the Discover Pathways to Wellbeing website which helps folk to support themselves with their mental health.  The Pathway can be used to guide conversation with a trusted friend or family member to help to decide what help or support is right for you.

We also have a short film to help raise awareness, why not take a look!
