EVENT: Moray NHS & Social Care Staff invited to help shape wellbeing activities

MWH Admin TeamEvent

Moray Wellbeing Hub CIC (MWH) want to hear from NHS and Social Care staff in Moray (HSCM) to help co-design and shape activities for fellow staff to improve their wellbeing. The last 18 months have been tough on those supporting wellbeing and it’s time for them to get a bit of pampering, laughter, connection and peer-support.

We want to hear your ideas and thoughts on how best Moray Wellbeing Hub can host these activities. These wellbeing sessions aim to use local organisations and businesses, from local venues to skilled creative folk.

To kick start the conversation we have two sessions we welcome HSCM team members to join us at:

  1. Monday 20th September 2021, 12:30pm – 1pm (MS Teams)
  2. Wednesday 22nd September, 6pm – 6:30pm (Zoom)

This is part of project ‘Reconnecting to our wellbeing through COVID: HSCM workforce’ which aims to challenge stigma, especially self-stigma, surrounding seeking support for mental health and other wellbeing challenges. It has been funded by the NHS Endowment Fund: COVID19.

The more we hear the ideas of staff, the better we can tailor these funded sessions to the needs of the participants. Moray Wellbeing Hub with HSCM welfare leads ran a survey earlier this year. This discussed ideas such as; a pampering evening, wellbeing book club, creative expression session with materials – online or in-person. These are just some ideas, however it’s your opinions and ideas that matter.

Please share this with any Health and Social Care staff in Moray who might be interested in designing and attending these Staff Wellbeing sessions, even if they cannot attend the focus groups. We want to hear as many views and inputs as possible, so we can design these sessions based on need and desirability.

Please contact johanna@moraywellbeinghub.org.uk if you would like to be involved.

If you are able to attend one or both of our focus groups please indicate this when you e-mail so we can ensure we get the links to you.
