Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental Health Awareness Week will take place from 18-24 May 2020. The theme is ‘kindness’.

The aim of the week is to raise awareness of the positive impact that both giving and receiving kindness can make to all of our mental health, particularly in difficult times such as these. It is also an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of prevention in mental health, and the important role we can all play to help promote and maintain our mental wellbeing.

We encourage you all to get involved and help share these messages throughout the week – and hopefully be encouraged to help spread a kindness too!

There are lots of ideas for ways you and your colleagues or friends and family can join in. There are also a range of resources including posters, and social media graphics which you can share on the first day of the week (Monday 18th May) and help spread the word that #kindnessmatters!
