Have your say and help reduce gambling harms

The Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE) is organising an event on the 19th March in Glasgow to hear from people with experience of gambling harms. This work will help inform the delivery of the Gambling Commission’s  National Strategy to Reduce Gambling Harms. The event will focus on three key challenges to the gambling industry;

  1. Incentives for ‘high value customers’
  2. Use of online advertising technologies
  3. Ethical game design

It will also be an opportunity to explore how best to involve people with lived experience of gambling in this work. If you have experiences to share about these gambling issues, either first hand or through someone you know, or in your community, and would like to have your say on how the industry will be regulated in the future to reduce harms, join us on the 19th of March in Central Glasgow (venue to be confirmed).

You can register or express your interest in this work by emailing gamblingharm@alliance-scotland.org.uk
