AB56 Future’s Service are running two further Short Programmes – these are 6 week courses, Monday-Thursday 1000-1400 @ Lady Cathcart School at their AB56 Futures service.
A training allowance of £11 per day is available depending on whether folks are better off on benefits, this will be discussed and agreed should daily allowance or remaining on benefits be advantageous.
Course 2
Start Date of course: Monday 16th March – end date Friday 24th April
Course 3
Start Date: Monday 11th May – end date Friday 19th June
The course is an introduction to early learning and childcare including: play, safeguarding, attachment, first aid and inclusion; key employability skills such as individual learning styles, working in a team, being a good employee as well as covering the registration requirements to work in the sector.
Eligibility criteria: 16-24 years up to 26 for care experienced young people those facing barriers to employment and they are particularly keen to support parental returners to labour market.
