MWH Admin TeamNews

Enable Scotland is happy announce that they have started with ACTIVE Youth groups in Elgin.

  • The groups are for young people who can identify with having a learning disability and who would like to meet new people in a group setting. They will not be able to provide personal care, but support workers or carers are more than welcome to join in.
  • These youth groups will be facilitated for age 10-12yrs and 13-15yrs (with a 15 min overlap between the two groups to stimulate a smoother transition from one age group to the other when appropriate).
  • The groups will take place in Bishopmill Hall in Elgin.
  • They will meet every week on Thursdays.
  • The aim of the groups is fun & friendship, active bodies and active minds.
  • For any question or to sign-up, please contact Tini on 07526 166772, the group facilitator.

Are you or do you know anyone who might like to join these groups?

(They will also be facilitating COMMUNITY Youth groups for young people with learning disabilities (16-18yrs) in the near future, aimed at fun & friendship, skills development and attention for challenges with transition into adulthood.)
