Short Programme – this is a 6 week course.
Monday-Thursday 10am – 2pm Lady Cathcart School at their AB56 Futures service.
Possible training allowance of £11 per day (depending on benefits to be discussed)
Course 1 Start Date: Monday 20th January 2020 – end: Friday 28th February 2020
Course 2 Start Date: Monday 16th March 20202 – end: Friday 24th April 2020
Course 3 Start Date: Monday 11th May 2020 – end: Friday 19th June 2020
This course is an introduction to early learning and childcare including: play, safeguarding, attachment, first aid and inclusion; key employability skills such as individual learning styles, working in a team, being a good employee as well as covering the registration requirements to work in the sector.
Eligibility criteria: 16-24 years, up to 26 years for care experienced young people, those facing barriers to employment and they are particularly keen to support parental returners to labour market.
