News: Vote for community projects to get funding with #YOUCHOOSE4 – opens today 5pm

#YOUCHOOSE4 VOTE OPENS TODAY – online at 5pm
In person – FRI, 22 NOV, 1PM-3PM, ALEXANDER GRAHAM BELL CENTRE, MORAY COLLEGE

Community organisations need your vote to help decide how local public funds should be spent to improve wellbeing.

Small grants of between £200 and £2000 are available through #YOUCHOOSE4. There is a total of £32,000 available for distribution, aiming to help people ‘Be Healthy and “connect communities’.  tsiMORAY’s host this Participatory Budgeting (PB) process and for those free today an event at Moray College to launch the vote welcomes people to have a fun interactive session with those looking to gain funding.

Champions of Moray Wellbeing Hub (individuals who have faced life challenges and want to create change using this experience) have 5 projects in for the funding.

We hope people will vote for their favourite projects, but our Champions would appreciate your votes (you can read more on these projects once the vote goes live):

  1. Body positivity– project Lead by Tini
  2. ‘Outdoor ‘Write to Recovery’ group – project lead by Donna
  3. “Create”: Project lead by Michael
  4. “Strands of Identity” – project lead by Fiona
  5. Textile for Mental Health & Wellbeing – project lead by Fiona
