News: Guardian article on success of recovery colleges affirms MWH ‘Wellness College’ approach.

Thanks to Champion Holly for spotting this in The Guardian the other week.

The article looks at the success of Recovery Colleges where people with experience of challenge in mental health support others in courses and groups.  Our approach for the Moray ‘Wellness College’, where we host courses such as Living Life to the Full in community venues, was based on early recovery college research but with an additional tweak of moving beyond a service model toward a ‘Gym for the Mind’ that was open to anyone.  If you have never heard of them do take a look as there are a number of them in England, as ever we welcome your thoughts!
