News: New LGBT+ Hub opens in Aberdeen

Jim McCullochNews

Four Pillars have announced the exciting news that their LGBT+ Hub opened in Aberdeen on the 1st of May and is open to all. Four Pillars was founded by people involved in the LGBT+ community who were unhappy by gaps for the community across Grampian. The name Four Pillars are the same that apply to all of us, Mental Health, Emotional Health, Physical Health and Sexual Health. You can’t have one without the other!

Four Unity‘ will be located in the heart of Aberdeen Market. The hub will be open Monday to Saturday 10am – 5pm and everyone is welcome!
Individuals can drop in, no appointment needed, have a hot or cold drink and light snacks (donations requested). People can bring in their own lunches if they just want a safe space on their lunch break etc.
We will provide leaflets and information as well as free condoms and lube. There will also be a quiet space for 1-2-1 meetings if required (these may be done by appointment)
This is an exciting time for us and the wider community and it is our hope that people from all ages and backgrounds will be able to come together, relax and feel comfortable in a safe space.
