Report: A Connected Scotland: our strategy for tackling social isolation and loneliness and building stronger social connections, 18 December 2018

Jim McCullochNews, Report

The Scottish Government has published its first national strategy to tackle social isolation and loneliness and build stronger social connections. Its key priorities are to empower communities and build shared ownership, promote positive attitudes and tackle stigma, to create opportunities for people to connect, and to support an infrastructure that fosters connections. It establishes a clear and compelling vision of the type of Scotland we want to be when it comes to our relationships and lays out a clear roadmap for implementing the strategy in a collaborative way.

The strategy can be read in full here.
