We are delighted to be supporting this event delivered by CHeX (Community Health Exchange), tsiMORAY and the Scottish Recovery Network.
This is a great chance to learn about the Community Empowerment Bill, legislation that can help us as community members get more involved in decision making and even the running and ownership of community buildings. All of which is vitally important in creating a healthier and more connected Moray.
As well as providing a general overview, the workshop will introduce you to:
- Using participation requests to start a conversation with public bodies about how to improve services.
- Asset transfer requests in relation to land and buildings in your community that you would like to make better use of.
- Having your voice heard in community planning
