Training: NHS led Scotland’s Mental Health First Aid (Adult), at Moray College on the 17th & 18th December 9:30am – 5pm

MWH Admin TeamNews, Training

There is a training opportunity to attend a Scottish Mental Health First Aid (Adult) Course at the Moray College (Resuscitation room) on the 17th & 18th of December. This training is open to NHS, Council and partnership staff as well as community partners and third sector organisations.

This is not a MWH run course, therefore not led visibly by peers, but is led by our partners at NHS who have strong professional skills and will create a warm welcome for all. Due to the way this is funded they are able to offer spaces for free to their partners and it is a great opportunity to gain SMHFA knowledge as well as network with others to learn more about what is going on in wellbeing in Moray.

Moray Wellbeing Hub will be running more low-cost courses in the new year with more trainers ready to deliver as peers.  We will also be continuing to offer the SMHFA course in-house for businesses and groups as part of their staff development and embedding mental health in the workplace – funding from this we are happy to help organisations apply for.

Please click here for the booking form.

For any questions about the training, please contact the NHS Mental Health Team Administrator by email (nhsg.mentalhealthtraining@nhs.net) or by phone 01224 558677 / 01224 558466 .
