Feeling socially connected, especially in an increasingly isolated world, is more important than ever. Come along to VOX’s Connection Conference on Monday 3rd December 2018 between 10am and 4pm in The Golden Lion Hotel, King Street Stirling to help us explore Connection looking at a range of perspectives.
- Connection between clinical staff and patients, and the importance of empathy, previewing VOX’s film – Longing for a Connection.
- How you can connect with people experiencing psychosis to enable them to make their own decisions, Dr Paul Hutton, Edinburgh Napier University.
- Connecting through social media, what’s really happening out there!
We will also be holding our Annual General Meeting.
The event is aimed at people who have, or have had a mental health problem, those who attend will be expected to support our commitment to creating a “safe space” for our membership, reasonable travel expenses will be provided.
