News: Visit to Places of Worship in Aberdeen by Aberdeen Interfaith Group – Monday 12th November

Join members of Aberdeen Interfaith Group to visit three places of worship in central Aberdeen! Meeting at Aberdeen Train Station we will visit the local synagogue, mosque and Quaker Meeting House. At Aberdeen Synagogue and Community Centre at 2pm we will see their wonderful new embroidered cloth for the bimah and covers for the Torah scrolls.  At 2.45pm we will be welcomed by Syed Shah Mustafa Jame Masjid (Mosque) who were so kindly accommodated by St Johns’s Episcopal Church a few years ago and continue to be close neighbours. At 3pm we will visit the Aberdeen Quakers Meeting House.

This is a free event; please note, there are steps up to the Synagogue;

1-1.30pm  Meet Aberdeen Interfaith Group Committee members at Aberdeen Train Station

2pm          Aberdeen Synagogue (ASJCC) 74 Dee Street

2.45pm    Syed Shah Mustafa Jame Masjid (Mosque) 16 Crown Terrace

3-4pm      Aberdeen Quaker Meeting House, 98 Crown Street
