VOX, the Mental Health Foundation, and the Centre for Health Policy (University of Strathclyde) have undertaken a co-produced piece of research together with the Research Collective (researchers with lived experience of mental health problems) to look at ways of increasing the civic and public participation of people with mental health problems. The Moray Wellbeing Hub supported a focus group locally as a part of the data gathering for this report.
The launch event for this research report will be on the 13th June, 12:30-15:30pm, at the Insight Institute, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. There will be discussions on some of the findings of the report, and a panel discussion on how to make positive changes in this area.
The event will include personal stories of civic involvement including two of the MWH Champions!
