News: Grampian Pride 2018 – 26th May, Beach Blvd, Aberdeen

This years’ Grampian Pride event will be held at Beach Blvd, Aberdeen on 26th May from 10:30am – no need to book.

If you haven’t already got your ticket for the Pride Village you can do so at www.grampianpride.org today, and, since the announcement of headliner Sandi Thom, they are going fast. There is no need to register as a group or party just get the individual tickets you need.

The village, Queens Links Aberdeen, opens from 1pm and will host live entertainment and guest speakers, including Annie Wallace, right through till 8pm. If you are part of an organisation or charity that support the local community and would like a free stall at Grampian Pride, please contact charitystall@grampianpride.org if you haven’t done so already.

The village will host a children’s area complete with; face painting, games and activities, a youth zone area; hosting a climbing wall and fun activities, a charity tent, a trans safe space, small bar and several catering units. Grampian Pride have joined up with Codona’s, who will offer discounts on rides to people with a pride wristband and both first bus & Aberdeen Taxis are also offering special prices for the community on the day.

Grampian Pride are still looking for volunteers on the day, so if you can spare a few hours and want to get involved please contact volunteer@grampianpride.org

They are also still looking for small sponsorships and opportunities for the LGBT community (discounts within your business, raffle prizes for fundraisers etc) if you would like to become more involved as a business or organisation please contact fundraising@grampianpride.org in the first instance.
