There is now a food larder at the Phoenix Centre provided through the Moray Foodbank. They aim to offer a service to the Buckie community and support staff and services by offering this service locally.
This is not the same as the “Food bank” currently operating in the Centre which is open to all accessing the building. The food larder has a specific remit and also there is certain recording that needs to be fed back.
The eligibility for people to access the Food Larder is for those who are in dire need of the resource, for example, benefits have been cut or there are pressures on finances effecting the individual/family.
