Project 1: Mentally Wealthy Moray

Help us bring our inclusive peer-support approach to those with experience of alcohol and drug misuse. We have existing Champions at the hub as well as many others in the community who feel stigmatised by their experiences, we want to help them have a voice as part of the hub, to improve our partnerships with folk with specialised services in this area, but most of all support more people to live a life to it’s fullest using their life experiences to inspire change in others.

Project 2: Wellbeing on Wheels:

We are looking for £1000 toward supporting our volunteers to get out to more local small towns in Moray to bring our peer-support, training and awareness sessions to local areas, using the existing health bus owned by the local Health & Social Care. As usual, we will be talking a celebratory approach and making use of this excellent mobile resource; there is bound to be cake and good conversation, welcoming people older and young to look at their community and personal wellbeing.
