Resource: Realising the Value Programme – Empowering People, Engaging Communities

AdminResource

A core goal of the Moray Wellbeing Hub is to empower people, and as a result, improving their wellbeing. This Nesta project provides more evidence that approaches such as ours work to help engage people in communities to make change in health care. We recommend checking out their wider website as well, as much of their thoughts on partnership and the style of language they use in their work is very similar to our own.

Please let us know what you think about this interesting project and the style of reporting they chose to share it widely.

Nesta and the Health Foundation worked together over an 18 month period and last November produced their final report on the Realising the Value programme. They were able to strengthen the case for enabling people to take an active role in their own health and care along with identifying evidence-based approaches that engage people in their own health and care.

There is a very informative article reflecting on the programme, written by Annie Finnis, which you can read here: Realising the Value: Four Months On

You can access all of the extensive programme reports, tools and resources here: Realising the Value Resources
