As part of the Scottish Recovery Network’s Write to Recovery project, three groups are being set up in Moray to support people to explore the power of this approach toward wellbeing. Sharing our stories and creative writing are essential for good health. Stories connect us with one another and allow us to share our experiences. If you or someone you know are interested in sharing stories and creative writing, please come along to the first meeting of the Storytelling/Creative Writing Group in your area. We will explore the purpose and format of the group, your intentions, and how the group can best serve its members.

Please RSVP (to Michael – iamthestoryteller@gmail.com) and let him know if you are bringing someone else so he has an idea of numbers on the night.

The project is being funded by the Scottish Recovery Network, which is dedicated to supporting people’s positive health. Similar groups are proposed for Elgin and Buckie. The facilitator, Michael Williams, is a storyteller and Story Coach and the founder of the online Academy of Storytelling. He is also a ‘Champion’ of the Moray Wellbeing Hub.
