Event: Share your views on suicide prevention in Scotland

Several national agencies have teamed-up to find out the public view on suicide prevention in Scotland. A series of events have been taking place to share views on suicide prevention in Scotland. They are keen to hear from those directly affected by suicide and those who directly engage with those affected. These events will help us shape their work on suicide prevention in Scotland and will be used to influence the Scottish Government’s development of a new suicide prevention action plan, which will be published in spring 2018. Event: Forres Town Hall – Have Your Say! and Moray Business Week Showcase of Support

FACT, Forres Area Community Trust, are hosting an event at Forres Town Hall on Monday 13th November, 2pm-7pm to discuss the possibility of a Community Asset Transfer of the Town into community ownership.  If you want to know more about this do go along. Event: Resilience Week – 6th-10th November

Resilience Week is the Scottish Government’s annual campaign to encourage everyone in Scotland to think about their own readiness for emergencies or other significant challenges. While these might not be things we often choose to dwell on, taking small and simple steps now can make all the difference. This year’s campaign will encourage everyone to take a few moments to make sure they can stay informed, get ready, and think of others. Event: ‘Have You Taken Your Tablets?’ – Feelgood Festival Final Event!

Tonight sees the closing event for the Moray Feelgood Festival 2017 at Hopeman Memorial Hall , 7:30pm-8:30pm, with a performance of ‘Have You Taken Your Tablets?’, a satirical take on mental health through the guise of skits, sketches and monolgues with Biff Gladman and friends.
